The article introduces a portal called viaLibri which specializes in rare prints and whose target audience are collectors and book lovers.

The article presents the historical specialities of leather binding which consists of 23 text pages and the set of 100 double sheets of coloured printed maps stuck on wing. The full-leather book plates are the most remarkable elements of binding. The plates were done by sticking together the leather area with the sheet of handmade paper and in the back part extended to flap. Flexible book plates due to oversized format and block weight protect the book block inadequately.

On February 12th, Prague branch of The Association of Librarians and Information Workers visited The Library of the Family Kinsky. Volumes of the library stayed preserved in original empire shelves of the palace Golz-Kinsky situated in Prague Old Town Square. The aristocratic library was founded by Ferdinand of Kinsky who bought for this purpose 18 353 books from the Manheim antiquarian A. H. Lafontain. Following possessor of the library Rudolf of Kinsky assigned the Czech patriotic rules for the future book acquisitions and general building of the book collection. The library was regularly supplied with newly acquired volumes till the beginning of the 20th century. Several catalogues composed mostly by the librarian E. E. Folkmann were available to all the interested readers. The library was confiscated by the state after 1945 and in the year 1950, The Library of The National Museum was entrusted with its preservation and administration which is the present status of the library as well. The library encompasses the collection of documents related to the French Revolution unique in Czech Republic.
